Champions will be crowned in Columbus this March as the NCAA DIII Women's Basketball Championship comes to Capital University on March 14-16. This is your home for tickets, schedule, news and things to do in Columbus on Championship weekend.

Thursday, March 14

  • Semifinal 1 at 5 p.m.
  • Semifinal 2 at 7:30 p.m.

Saturday, March 16

  • Championship at 7 p.m.
  • WBCA All-Star game at 4 p.m.

Book Drive

Capital Athletics and the Sports Commission are hosting a Kids' Book Drive benefitting 2nd & 7 in Columbus! Bring your new or gently used books to donation centers in The Cap Center, Blackmore Library, Yochum Hall or the Student Union. Donations are accepted through Friday, March 8.

Did You Know? 

  • Columbus first hosted the Championship in 1995 as hometown Capital University defeated UW-Oshkosh.
  • Columbus was slated to host the Championship in 2020 before it was canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic
  • Columbus will host the 2027 Women's Final Four

Q: Are discounts available for groups, students, youth or seniors?
A: Yes. Discounted tickets are available to youth (must be purchased with an adult ticket), students (must show school ID) and seniors. For Groups of 10+, call 614-236-6174 for assistance.

Q: Are tickets digital only or printable?
A: After ordering, you will be emailed tickets as a PDF. You can print that or show the code on your phone to enter.

Q: Does a semifinal ticket guarantee my seat for both semifinal games?
A: Yes.

Q: What does an all-session ticket include?
A: Four games in total. Both semifinals on March 14, as well as the Championship and WBCA All-Star Game on March 16.

Q: How do I get a ticket to the WBCA All-Star Game?
A: You must purchase an All-Session ticket or a Championship ticket.
