Dec. 21, 2024 | vs. No. 7 Tennessee (College Football Playoff)
Less than a month later, GameDay was back in C-Bus. This time for the first year of the expanded College Football Playoff First Round played on campus sties. No. 6 Ohio State rolled 42-17.
Nov. 23, 2024 | vs. No. 5 Indiana
The Hoosiers were undefeated heading into this Big Ten matchup before the No. 2 Buckeyes ended their streak.

Lee Corso put on Brutus Buckeye head once again and nailed the pick. The No. 3 Buckeyes prevailed 20-12.

This has been GameDay's most common matchup. The No. 2 Buckeyes defeated the Nittany Lions 28-17.

Ohio State's eighth time hosting was their first time losing. The Longhorns edged the No. 4 Buckeyes 25-22

The No. 4 Buckeyes battled the Boilermakers in a hardfought game, earning a 16-13 win in overtime.

The second appearance of the season was the first time The Game was featured on GameDay. No. 2 Ohio State won a low scoring affair 14-9.

This was the first out of conference opponent to visit Columbus on GameDay. No. 6 Ohio State welcomed the PAC-12 team by beating them 25-7.

There must be something about the first weekend in October. No. 1 Ohio State stayed on top of the poll after toppling Penn State 28-9.
Oct. 4, 1997 | vs. No. 8 Iowa
The No. 7 Buckeyes beat the Hawkeyes 23-7 in a return matchup after visiting Iowa City on GameDay the year prior.
Oct. 5, 1996 | vs. No. 4 Penn State
Ohio State's first time hosting marked Lee Corso's first time putting on the headgear. It was a Brutus Buckeye head and he picked correctly as the No. 3 Buckeyes won 38-7. This was in a three-stretch week where Ohio State was on GameDay, bookended by road games at Notre Dame and Iowa (both wins).
