The Greater Columbus Sports Commission recently appointed Jordan Shelton to the role of Business Development Assistant.

Greater Columbus Sports Commission Senior Business Development Manager Amy North said Shelton will support the Sports Commission’s business development efforts, including lead research, bid preparation and hotel partner coordination. In addition, Shelton will assist with site visits, RFP tracking and business development needs around hosted events such as NCAA Championships.

"We're excited for Jordan to join our team. Jordan brings a fresh perspective and energy that will amplify the efforts of the Business Development Team," North said. "With his added support, the Sports Commission will be able to better promote Columbus, pursue additional events and help make Columbus a top sports destination."

Prior to joining the Greater Columbus Sports Commission, Shelton was the parking supervisor at the Greater Columbus Convention Center. Shelton also has a background in sports serving as on-site production support for CBS Sports and as a student associate for the University of Dayton Athletics ticket office.
