The Greater Columbus Sports Commission recently appointed Grace Dearing to the role of Marketing Manager.

Greater Columbus Sports Commission Director of Marketing Jesse Ghiorzi said Dearing will lead the organization’s social media, email and partnership marketing efforts, including the Community Cup and local youth camps and clinics. In addition to these areas, Dearing will support marketing needs around hosted events such as NCAA Championships.

“We're excited for Grace to join our team. She brings a wealth of experience in social media and email marketing and will lead those efforts for the Sports Commission,” Ghiorzi said. “Grace will also support the corporate partnership team and play a big role in marketing the events that help make Columbus a top sports destination.”

Prior to joining the Greater Columbus Sports Commission, Dearing was the assistant manager of social media and community outreach for Hally, a haircare and hair dye brand. Dearing also has a background in professional sports serving as a digital and social analytics intern for the Seattle Seahawks. Dearing is a graduate of the E.W. Scripps School of Journalism at Ohio University.
