COLUMBUS, OH (February 22, 2023) – The Greater Columbus Sports Commission (GCSC) recently appointed Amy North to the role of Business Development Manager.

Greater Columbus Sports Commission CEO & President Linda Logan said North will oversee efforts to promote and showcase Columbus as a sporting event destination for amateur, national and collegiate events. This will include working with local hospitality providers, building new relationships with event organizers, and overseeing the application process to host regional, national, and global events.

North joins GCSC after serving as an advisor and manager at leading global brands including JPMorgan Chase and Hyatt Regency. A graduate of The Ohio State University, she recently earned certificates in business analytics and project management from Cornell University.  North also has volunteer experience with the Brian Muha Memorial Foundation’s Night of Champions Committee. The event has generated more than $300,000 for child wellness causes around Columbus.
