To celebrate our incredible sports scene in Columbus (and our own 15th Anniversary!), the Greater Columbus Sports Commission partnered with Homage to create this amazing shirt.

Pretty great, right? Whether you’re a diehard Blue Jackets fan, attend the Arnold Sports Festival religiously or simply love supporting sports in Columbus, this is one fashion staple you simply have to have.

You may be wondering—where are the best places I should wear this awesome shirt? Our comprehensive style guide has all the tips you need. Read on below!

1) Embark on the Columbus Has No Offseason Trail

The Columbus Has No Offseason Trail continues into December and well into next year, with highlights such as the USA Swimming Winter National Championships, The Women’s Sports Report and the OHSAA State Gymnastics Championships, just to name a few. What better way to show your pride for all things Columbus sports than marking off a few stops on the city’s only trail dedicated to sports? Bonus: if you check off four stops on the Trail, you get another great shirt to add to your collection!

2) Go to any Ohio State sporting event (and there are a lot!)

Football season at Ohio Stadium may be over, but that doesn’t mean your passion for the Buckeyes has to slow down! From Women’s Basketball to Wrestling (and look at that—another stop on the Columbus Has No Offseason Trail!) to Fencing, Ohio State has plenty of nationally ranked teams to watch. Pick a team you haven’t seen before and enjoy the action!

3) Compete in the Arnold 5K at the Arnold Sports Festival

Our shirt wouldn’t be complete without the Arnold Sports Festival, the largest multisport fitness festival in the world. With over 200,000 people and numerous sporting events to attend throughout the course of the week, challenge yourself by signing up for the Arnold 5K, where more than1,000 runners will race for special awards and Olympic size medals in the Short North Arts District and Arena District. Even if you’re not a runner, you won’t want to miss out on the Fitness Expo held at the Convention Center from March 1-4.

4) Experience the NCAA Women’s Final Four and Tourney Town Presented by Capital One

At the end of March,40,000 people will converge on the Arena District and Nationwide Arena for one of the biggest sports events to ever hit Columbus—the NCAA Women’s Final Four. You can show off your city pride by attending the games at Nationwide Arena or head over to Tourney Town, presented by Capital One, at the Greater Columbus Convention Center. There will be tons of free activities for you, your friends and family to enjoy, including the NCAA Bounce, special appearances, autograph signings, interactive games, contests, youth clinics and much more. No matter how you participate in the Women’s Final Four, the most stylish way to do it will be in your shirt!

5) Attend Columbus Clippers Opening Day

2018 is a big year for the Columbus Clippers. For starters, the team is hosting both the Minor League Baseball All-Star Game and the Minor League Baseball National Championship, the first time a team has hosted both events in the same season. On top of that, the Clippers are celebrating their 10th year playing at the award-winning Huntington Park! Don’t miss the start to such an exciting season, and look good doing it by wearing your shirt. Mark your calendars for the Clipper’s Opening Day on April 12.

6) Cheer on the Columbus Blue Jackets

It might be cold outside, but the Columbus Blue Jackets are on fire right now, ranked No. 1 in the NHL Metro Division. Even though you might need to wear a coat or scarf over your shirt while you’re there (hey, it gets cold inside Nationwide Arena too!) you can root on your favorite hockey team at any home game this season. Don’t miss the Blue Jackets continue their winning ways this winter.

These six locations aren’t the only places to wear your shirt, of course--you can wear it with pride wherever you go. If you want to learn more about the incredible sporting events that come to our city, head over to our events page and see for yourself!
