Ohio State hosts championship season at St. John Arena this April
All-session and single-session tickets for the 2016 Big Ten Men’s Gymnastics Championships and 2016 NCAA National Collegiate Men’s Gymnastics Championships are available for sale beginning Tuesday, January 5 at 10 a.m. ET.
The Ohio State University and the Greater Columbus Sports Commission will serve as hosts for both events at St. John Arena. The Big Ten championships are scheduled for April 1-2, followed by the NCAA championships April 15-16.
All-session adult tickets for the Big Ten championships are $15, while youth admission in $10. Single-session adult tickets are $10, $7 for youth. All-session adult tickets for the NCAA championships are $20, while youth and student admission is $12. Single-session adult tickets are $12 each, with youth and student prices set at $8.
Tickets for both events are available for purchase online at OhioStateBuckeyes.com and by phone at 1-800-GoBucks. Tickets for the NCAA championships can also be purchased online at NCAA.com/tickets. In-person purchase is available during business hours at the Ohio State Athletics Ticket Office, located at the Jerome Schottenstein Center, and day-of only at St. John Arena.
The Big Ten championships return to Columbus for the first time since 2010. Team finals open the two-day competition on Friday, April 1 at 7 p.m. ET. Event finals are Saturday, April 2 at 7 p.m. ET.
Penn State is the defending Big Ten champion after winning the conference title on its home floor last March. Ohio State will contend for its first B1G championship since 2007.
St. John Arena hosts the NCAA championships for the first time since 2011 and fourth time overall. Championship weekend begins with the Championship Qualifier on Friday, April 15. The qualifier takes place over two sessions, at 1 p.m. and 7 p.m., respectively. Team and event finals will be held on Saturday, April 16 at 7 p.m.
Ohio State looks to win its first NCAA title since 2001 at the 74th NCAA Championships. Oklahoma is the defending national champion, having claimed the 2015 title on its home floor in April.
