For the fourth year in a row, Community Cup presented by the Columbus Foundation set new a new high mark for teams and athletes! We watched teams battle it out all day on the field and create awesome memories with their coworkers on an out of office day. 
 

The Buffalo Wild Wings Tailgate Zone was bustling all day long as thousands of athletes walked back and forth between the field and their tents. Eclipse Creative Home Court had 27 companies offering samples, prizes and discounts.

On the field, we had close competitions in all divisions. Safelite continued it's hot streak in DI dominance, winning its fifth straight Cup. Chipotle returned to the top of the DII podium. The Columbus Blue Jackets won DIII, breaking their odd year winning streak. Sports Imports came out on top in DIV, for back to back championships.

The Charity Challenge returned, with four organizations serving as beneficiaries.

• $2,395 donated to The Columbus Foundation - Gifts of Kindness Fund
• $2,084 and 119,816 lbs of food donated to the Mid-Ohio Food Collective
• $2,350 donated to the Greater Columbus Sports Foundation
• $2,253 donated to the National Veterans Memorial and Museum

There were also awards handed out for several other categories:

• Most Engaged Team (most team members donating): Installed Building Products 
• Most Creative T-Shirt: The Columbus Partnership
• Best Design T-Shirt: Jeni's Ice Cream 
• Best Humor T-Shirt: Moo Moo Car Wash
• Most Spirited Tailgate: Jeni's Ice Cream 

The 2027 Community Cup is set for Friday, September 17 at Fortress Obetz. Registration is opening soon! We hope to see you there.
