The Franklin County Board of Commissioners and Ohio High School Athletic Association (OHSAA) recognized 16 spring sport state champions from Central Ohio during the Franklin County Board of Commissioners meeting this week.  

Columbus had a mixture of boys & girls state champions, as well as representation at the Division I, Division II & Division III levels. Winners came from nine different schools. Gahanna Lincoln led the group with three titles in girls track & field. Troy Lane (Pickerington Central), Camden Bentley (Gahanna Lincoln) and Collin Haj Abed (Grandview Heights) each secured two individual track & field championships.
