JUST ANNOUNCED - The Ohio Scholastic Play-by-Play Classic featuring the top high school boys’ basketball showcase event in the country will take the court at Nationwide Arena on Saturday, December 14.  See freshmen Bronny James, son of Lebron James; and Zaire Wade, son of Dwayne Wade, and the rest of the nation’s best prep team Sierra Canyon (CA) take on six-time Ohio High School state champion St. Vincent-St. Mary (Lebron James’ alma mater) and last year’s Play by Play Classic Group 1 runner- up) in the marquee game at 8:30PM.  

FOUR games – ONE ticket!

Earlier in the day, Columbus South meets Thomas Worthington at 3PM followed by Akron Buchtel (featuring the nation’s #2 sophomore Chris Livingston) versus Pickerington Central at 4:45PM AND a clash of central Ohio’s top two teams Pickerington North vs. Hilliard Bradley at 6:30PM.

"This event will be the biggest prep basketball event to come to Columbus in a very long time," Zach Fleer, owner of 270 HOOPS said. "With the national attention that Bronny James will bring, this event on December 14 puts a huge spotlight on the teams and players from Central Ohio and beyond."

Tickets go on sale Tuesday, October 15 at 10AM at the Big Lots! Box Office at Nationwide Arena Box office, online at ticketmaster.com AND all participating schools.

Play-By-Play Classics is in its’ 20th year showcasing the nation’s best high school prep events. During the 2002-2003 season, 64,000 people plus saw Lebron James and St. Vincent/St. Mary play in four games including one at the Schottenstein Center. Overall, 129 NBA players and 9 WNBA players have competed in a Play-by-Play Classic.
