Guest Speakers to Include Division I Football Head Coach Mark Dantonio, NFL Defensive Coordinator Dean Pees Among Others
The Ohio High School Football Coaches Association (OHSFCA) will hold their annual football clinic in Columbus at the Hilton Columbus at Easton beginning on Thursday, February 4 through Sunday, February 7. The clinic will bring in over 2,250 high school and college coaches with 59 companies from 17 states hosting exhibit space.
Special guest speakers during the event will include Michigan State University ‘s Mark Dantonio, Baltimore Ravens Defensive Coordinator Dean Pees, Northwestern University’s Pat Fitzgerald, University of Pittsburgh’s Pat Narduzzi, Indiana University’s Kevin Wilson and Ohio Army National Guard Commander General John C. Harris Jr.
Many additional head football coaches including numerous Ohio State University assistant coaches, as well as Division I assistant coaches and Ohio High School State Champion coaches will also be featured speakers during the clinic.
“We are incredibly honored that the OHSFCA holds their annual meeting in Columbus every year,” said Greater Columbus Sports Commission Executive Director Linda Shetina Logan. “We congratulate their organization, officers and regional directors on bringing such great leaders in the sport together and their continued efforts for improving football in the great State of Ohio.”
The weekend will begin with the North South Kickoff luncheon on Thursday, February 4. More than 130 of the best high school players from across Ohio will be joined by 20 of the top coaches to be featured at the event. The full list of athletes and coaches can be found here.
The OHSFCA will also be contributing to local and national nonprofit groups, including the First Friday Foundation, the Second and Seven Foundation, the Make a Wish Foundation and USA Football.
