April 29 marks the 14th Anniversary for the OhioHealth Capital City Half Marathon, Quarter Marathon and Commit to be Fit 5k.

With major running events that garner regional and national attention, more than 200 miles of trails in a remarkable metro park system, and a visitor destination that J.D. Power ranks as the best in the Midwest, Columbus has become one of the best running cities in America.
Columbus is home to a year-long series of major running events that includes the OhioHealth Capital City Half Marathon in April and the Nationwide Children’s Columbus Marathon in October. Both events have grown significantly and have regional as well as national reputations and create millions of dollars in economic impact. M3S Sports produces a dozen major running events in Columbus including the largest 4 mile event in the country, The Ohio State 4 Miler.
For the past two years, in partnership with the Greater Columbus Sports Commission, the nation’s best long distance runners have converged on Columbus for the USA Track & Field Half Marathon Championships held in conjunction with the OhioHealth Capital City Half Marathon. Columbus set the “Gold Standard” last year at this event and we look forward to creating an even better experience for the athletes, the community and our partners.
Cap City attracts runners from all 50 states and several nations to Columbus each spring. The event works in partnership with the Greater Columbus Sports Commission and Experience Columbus to show visitors the remarkable forward thinking city that Columbus has become.
Downtown Columbus has experienced a renaissance over the past 10 years. The Short North Arts District, the North Market, a vibrant nightlife and world-class restaurants make the city a popular place to visit.
