acha logoCOLUMBUS and TROY, Mich. (February 28, 2018) – The American Collegiate Hockey Association, a proud member of USA Hockey and an organization of nearly 500 college and university affiliated hockey programs, today announced its tournament ticket prices, including special youth discounts and Single Day Passes for those attending the 2018 ACHA National Championships in Columbus, Ohio from March 8-18.

Ticket pricing begins at $25 for a Single Day Pass. The wristband pass will allow the pass holder to watch all games played that day, at that one particular OhioHealth Chiller Arena facility.

For fans intending to attend multiple games over several days, an economical All-Tournament Pass is on sale at $60.  The best bargain, the All-Tournament Pass is valid for all 113 games, including games from every division and at all four OhioHealth Chiller Arenas, over the entire 11-day tournament. Attendees with the All-Tournament Pass will be able to watch all 12 National Semifinal games and all six National Championship games with their ACHA lanyard and collectible keepsake.

Highlighting the youth discounts, the ACHA will offer Columbus youth hockey players under 18 years of age free admission when wearing their team jersey.

“The ACHA’s mission is to support the growth and development of college hockey programs nationwide,” said Christopher Perry, Interim Executive Director of the ACHA. “Encouraging the Columbus youth hockey players to wear their team jersey extends the ACHA’s mission of stressing the personal development of individual athletes and further promotes their vision of playing in the big game one day.”

Last year marked the first time in ACHA history that players from top non-varsity intercollegiate hockey teams from across the country all competed together in one location. The 2017 ACHA National Championships generated approximately 3,000 hotel room nights and a direct economic impact of $8.1 million for the City of Columbus.

More than 75 teams and 1,600 players will compete in more than 100 games during the 2018 ACHA National Championships. The 2018 ACHA National Championships, hosted by the Greater Columbus Sports Commission and the Columbus Blue Jackets will be held at the OhioHealth Chiller Ice Rinks (North, Easton, Dublin) and the OhioHealth Ice Haus at Nationwide Arena.
