Columbus is set to host the 2023 USA Volleyball Girls 18s Junior National Championship on April 28–30 at the Greater Columbus Convention Center.

The 2023 USA Volleyball Girls 18s Junior National Championship is projected to bring more than 10,000 attendees and $6 million in direct visitor spend for Columbus. In its seventh year as a stand-alone championship, the annual event offers club players the chance to compete against the best of the best in the highest age group.
 
“We have hosted many events in Columbus, and we always enjoy working with the folks at the convention center and the Greater Columbus Sports Commission,” said USAV Events Director Kristy Cox. “I know our players and their families and fans will enjoy their time at the 2023 Girls 18s Nationals.”
 
Columbus previously hosted the event in 2021 and has hosted a total of 10 USA Volleyball events over the last decade, including parts of five national championships. USA Volleyball recently announced Columbus as host of the 2024 USA Adult Volleyball Open Championships, the longest running volleyball tournament in the country that will feature men’s & women’s teams ages 18-80 competing over the course if six days.
