Fantastic Facilities

Columbus offers a wide variety of unique facilities and venues that include state-of-the-art multi-purpose arenas, the nation's firs soccer-specific stadium and the world's largest softball complex.

Nationwide Arena and the Schottenstein Center are multi-purpose arenas. Nationwide Arena is located in the heart of the Arena District and is home to the NHL's Columbus Blue Jackets. The Schottenstein Center is located on the The Ohio State University campus and is home to men's and women's basketball and men's ice hockey.

Columbus Crew Stadium was a pioneer for soccer-specific stadium, but with a capacity of 22,500, it is also the perfect setting for football and lacrosse, and has the amenities and luxuries to host such events as the MLS Cup, MLS All-Star Game and FIFA Women's World Cup.

In addition to the massive Ohio Stadium, The Ohio State University also boasts the new McCorkle Aquatic Pavilion, Jesse Owens Memorial Stadium (track & field, soccer and lacrosse) and the beautiful 4,450-seat Bill Davis Stadium (baseball).

The Greater Columbus Convention Center is one of the city's most flexible venues and hosts a variety of volleyball, fencing and wrestling tournaments, in addition to the Arnold Sports Festival and its 18,000 athletes.

In Spring 2009, Huntington Park opened downtown in the Arena District and is the home of the International League's Columbus Clippers baseball team, affilate of the Cleveland Indians.
