Be a Sports Journalist

The “Be a Sports Journalist” program is designed to provide a select group of high school students with the opportunity to be part of the working media at the Ohio High School Athletic Association (OHSAA) girls and boys basketball state championships, baseball and football state championships. This program provides a real sports journalism experience. Students are seated at press row, cover the championship games, attend post-game news conferences and are able to spend time with the professional working media. Additionally, students are recognized at the championships for their participation in the program.

Students are chosen with the assistance of the Ohio Scholastic Media Association through their sports news and sports online contests. Check out stories from the students below and sign up to Be a Sports Journalist today!
