COLUMBUS (December 17, 2015) – The 2016 OhioHealth Capital City Half Marathon and 2016 Men’s & Women’s USA Half Marathon Championships will air live on WBNS 10TV when the National Championship Edition of the Capital City Half Marathon is held in downtown Columbus and surrounding neighborhoods.

2.6 Mile Fun Run & Walk will benefit Nationwide Children’s Hospital’s infant mortality efforts, the Columbus Urban League and the Jesse Owens Foundation
Columbus (September 16, 2015) – The Nationwide Children’s Hospital Columbus Marathon & ½ Marathon, in partnership with the Columbus Urban League and Greater Columbus Sports Commission, will host the first-ever Jesse Owens Jog 2.62 Mile Fun Run & Walk on October 17, 2015 from 10 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.
The City of Columbus remains one of the best in the country for Blacks and African-Americans, whether it’s for families, professionals and business owners. It is also one of the most committed cities in the country to its residents in living an active and healthier lifestyle. In July, Columbus will host two national events that can help our levels of fitness increase…please read on and consider attending one or both!
Black Girls RUN! (facebook) is an national organization that encourages African-American women to make fitness and healthy living a priority to tackle the growing obesity epidemic in the African-American community. They provide encouragement and resources to both new and veteran runners. Columbus will join Chicago, Houston, New York and Philadelphia in hosting the Black Girls RUN! “Preserve the Sexy” National Health Tour, which will be here on Saturday, July 13.
