Columbus Hosting Two National African-American Running and Biking Events in July

The City of Columbus remains one of the best in the country for Blacks and African-Americans, whether it’s for families, professionals and business owners.  It is also one of the most committed cities in the country to its residents in living an active and healthier lifestyle.  In July, Columbus will host two national events that can help our levels of fitness increase…please read on and consider attending one or both!

Black Girls RUN! (facebook) is an national organization that encourages African-American women to make fitness and healthy living a priority to tackle the growing obesity epidemic in the African-American community.  They provide encouragement and resources to both new and veteran runners.  Columbus will join Chicago, Houston, New York and Philadelphia in hosting the Black Girls RUN! “Preserve the Sexy” National Health Tour, which will be here on Saturday, July 13.
