Columbus Gears Up For Rugby Week
Apr 01USA Rugby, Rugby Ohio and The Ohio State University Rugby team are teaming up for “Rugby Week” in Columbus Ohio, April 4th-9th, 2011.
After the announcement that both Men’s and Women’s Rugby had recently been added to the 2016 Olympic games in Rio, USA Rugby came up with an initiative called “Rookie Rugby” to help the next generation of Olympic Rugby Athletes understand the sport of rugby at an earlier age. Rookie Rugby is a non-contact version of the sport and is being pushed in schools across America.
