Three-day idea-sharing seminar set for Sept. 29 to Oct. 1 at Greater Columbus Convention Center
Columbus (September 28, 2015) – The Minor League Baseball Promotional Seminar will be held in Columbus on Tuesday, September 29 through Thursday, October 1. This year’s seminar is expected to draw 350-400 attendees with over 30 guest speakers. The projected attendance could make the seminar one of the highest attended events since Minor League Baseball took over planning and execution in 1998.

Pepsi MAX Hitting Exhibition and Free Friday Concert at Columbus Commons
On Friday, May 11, it’s “play ball” at Columbus Commons from 4:00 – 9:45 p.m. The Commons will be the site for Major League Baseball’s legends of the game, including Reggie Jackson and Wade Boggs, to showcase their strength, accuracy and hitting prowess. The Grand Lawn will be transformed into a skills field, complete with hitting targets and a scoring system. There will be ample spectator viewing throughout the park where kids of all ages can reach out and catch a piece of history.
The Columbus Baseball Invitational – dubbed The Jewish World Series – is scheduled for May 17-20

In the fall of 2011, fans across the country had the chance to vote for one of four finalists they wanted to host the Pepsi MAX Field of Dreams game. The winner of the Pepsi MAX Field of Dreams contest was Columbus resident Tim Wisecup and on May 12th, he will be joined by 10 of his friends at Huntington Park to play a 6-inning baseball game against a team of MLB legends including Johnny Bench, Frank Thomas, Reggie Jackson and more. A full lineup by position can be seen below.
