In the fall of 2011, fans across the country had the chance to vote for one of four finalists they wanted to host the Pepsi MAX Field of Dreams game. The winner of the Pepsi MAX Field of Dreams contest was Columbus resident Tim Wisecup and on May 12th, he will be joined by 10 of his friends at Huntington Park to play a 6-inning baseball game against a team of MLB legends including Johnny Bench, Frank Thomas, Reggie Jackson and more. A full lineup by position can be seen below.

Spring OHSAA Baseball and Track & Field Tournaments Add To Busy Sports Weekend in Columbus

Columbus Clippers and Crew Off To A Strong Spring
May 02The 2010 Triple-A National Champion Columbus Clippers are in the midst of an 11-game winning streak in 2011 with Sunday’s 9-3 win over Charlotte. The Clippers used a six run sixth inning to carry them and are now 7-2 at Huntington Park. The Clippers won their eleventh game in a row, and look to extend it to twelve at 7:15 p.m. today. Columbus owns the best record in the league right now and are in first place with a three game lead in the International West division.

2010 Triple-A National Champions Ring Ceremony
Mar 31As part of the festivities at the Clippers-Indians exhibition game, community leaders and supporters of the team were asked to take part in the 2010 Triple-A National Champions Ring Ceremony. The Columbus Clippers were crowned Triple-A National Champions over the Tacoma Rainers last September. Our very own Linda Logan handed Indians pitcher Zach McAllister his ring.
