The Memorial Tournament presented by Nationwide Insurance is giving fans a chance to play the new EA Sports Tiger Woods PGA TOUR® 14 video game before it’s available to the public. The event will be held on Friday, March 22, 2013 from 11 a.m.  to 2 p.m. in the Ohio Union on the campus of The Ohio State University (first floor, Great Hall Art Gallery East).

Fans will also have a chance to enter to win an XBOX 360 console with KINECT as well as other great prizes including copies of the Tiger Woods PGA TOUR® 14 video game.

OHSAA Boys Basketball Set to Tip in Columbus

The action on the hardwood continues this weekend as the Ohio High School Athletic Association Boys Basketball State Championships take over the Jerome Schottenstein Center!

The 91st annual boys state championships bring 16 of the state’s top teams to Columbus, with the four remaining teams from divisions I, II, III and IV competing for their respective state titles.

NCAA Women’s Basketball Tournament Action in Columbus

The Ohio State University campus will be busy this weekend. The NCAA Women’s Tournament games will be taking place at St. John Arena and across the street the OHSAA Boys Basketball State Championship games will be taking place at the Jerome Schottenstein Center.

Columbus serves as one of the 16 sites for the first and second rounds of the NCAA Women’s Basketball Tournament, which will begin Saturday at St. John Arena. Oklahoma, Central Michigan, UCLA and Stetson will start their road to the finals in Central Ohio.

OHSAA Girls Basketball State Championships Kick Off March Madness in Columbus

Now that March is here,  the perennial basketball excitement begins. However, Columbus has a little extra flair this time of year with the Ohio High School Athletic Association basketball championships, and this weekend the action commences with the 38th Annual Girls Basketball State Championships.

The event will feature 16 of the state’s best teams, as the four remaining teams from Divisions I, II, III and IV compete to earn their respective state titles. The excitement will tipoff Thursday afternoon and conclude Saturday evening. The Division II and III semifinals will be played Thursday with the Division I and IV semifinals Friday. All four state championships will be played Saturday.

NCAA Rifle Championships Are Back In Columbus

The 2013 National Collegiate Men’s and Women’s Rifle Championships will be in full swing this weekend in Columbus for the second-straight year. The event, which will take place at Converse Hall and French Field House on the campus of The Ohio State University, will take place Friday and Saturday.

In total, 48 individuals will compete at the event, with 40 coming from the eight team qualifiers and the other eight individuals making the cut based on previous qualifying scores.

OHSAA Ice Hockey State Championships On Tap at Nationwide

A few unfamiliar tenants will be taking over Nationwide Arena this weekend, as the remaining four ice hockey teams compete for the Ohio High School Athletic Association State Championship Friday and Saturday.
