The Ohio State University women’s volleyball team will look to begin their journey to the Sweet 16 for the third-straight year as they enter the NCAA Tournament for the fourth-consecutive year.
The No. 14 Buckeyes (22-10) will head to Lexington, Ky. to face Notre Dame (20-9) Friday at 5 p.m. If the Buckeyes win, they will face the winner of No. 16 Kentucky (20-10) and East Tennessee State (23-12) Saturday at 7 p.m. for a chance to play in the West Lafayette Regional Dec. 7-8.
This year’s Clark Kellogg Tip-Off Classic will not only showcase the best that Ohio’s high school basketball has to offer, but also serve to benefit the Central Ohio Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA) and the Big Brothers Big Sisters of Central Ohio.
Many will be fighting the crowds this Black Friday but many (maybe you) will be in the stands experiencing the first ever NCAA Division I football game at Crew Stadium.
The Bowling Green State Falcons will host the University of Buffalo Bulls at 2:00 p.m. in their last game of the regular season. Currently, sitting at 7-4 and 5-2 in conference the Falcons are ranked second behind Kent State in the MAC East. Bowling Green is 6-3 all-time verse Buffalo and look poised to continue that success.
The 2012 OHSAA State Soccer Tournament Finals will be held at Columbus Crew Stadium this Veteran’s Day Weekend for the thirteenth year. OHSAA is one of the few high school sports associations that provides its soccer teams the experience of playing a state final in a professional soccer arena.
There will be six champions decided over two days. The girls will play on Friday and the boys on Saturday. Matches on both days start with Division III at 12:00 p.m., Division II at 3:30 p.m. and the Division I at 7:00 p.m.
